We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for an International School based in Xian. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

About the school
Xian has been home to this international school since 2003 and it is the city's first institution to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The school provides educational programs ranging from the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, to the Diploma Programme, covering all educational levels from kindergarten to high school.

Job responsibilities
  • Teach the subject of Mathematics to students in secondary education utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • At least 2 years related teaching experiences or above
  • Current teaching certification or bachelor degree in education
  • A good understanding of the IB MYP and DP curriculum
  • Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits
  • Monthly salary of 28,000 to 37,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
