English ESL Teacher

We are looking for English ESL Teachers for a Training Center located in Chengdu. This is a full-time position.

About the school

This English language institute operates in mainland China, providing immersive, North American-style English education for children. With an English-only environment and a structured curriculum, it helps students develop fluency naturally. The institute collaborates with major educational organizations like McGraw-Hill and Cambridge to enhance its teaching quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Work aboard to teach kids in China aged 3 – 18 in groups of up to 16 students.
• Planning and delivering lessons to children.
• Using the school’s courseware and tools to teach efficiently and effectively.
• Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents.
• Assigning and evaluating out of class exercises.
• Participating in social activities with students organized by the school

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• No criminal record
• Eligible for the English teaching visa
• Minimum of 2 years of related teaching experience
• TEFL/TSEOL certificate

Salary and benefits

• Excellent salary: 14,500 – 21,000 RMB per month
• Housing allowance: 3,000 – 5,000 RMB per month (experience and qualification dependent)
• Performance bonus: 500-1,000 RMB every month (experience and qualification dependent)
• Attendance bonus: 600 RMB per month
• Management allowance: 0 – 4,000 RMB per month (management workload dependent)
• Contract renewal bonus: 2,000 – 5,000 RMB per year (experience and renewal years dependent)
