English Teacher

We are looking for Middle School English Teacher for an international school based in Beijing. This position is available is available with an immediate start.

• Employ an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning that promotes inquiry, agency and the development of critical-thinking skills
  
• Differentiate classroom instruction to meet student’s individual learning needs and styles
  
• Integrate International and Chinese approaches to learning to deliver a personalized curriculum
• Provide learning experiences that build on students’ prior knowledge, understanding and skills
• Attend and actively contribute to collaborative planning meetings
• Work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, specialists and other support staff to develop and document teaching and learning experiences.
• Help to document minutes and actions of collaborative planning meetings and work together with team to complete tasks within the subject area and grade level groups
• Demonstrate open communication based on understanding and respect
• Participate in parent/student interviews and conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Education (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience teaching in a Secondary School learning environment
• Certification in relevant teaching area
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 RMB to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 7,000 RMB
