In view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the world, China has decided to temporarily suspend entry into China by foreign nationals holding visas or residence permits still valid to the time of the announcement effective from 28th March 2020.
As the prevention and control of COVID-19 become regular (at the time of writing), employers in China have started to successfully apply for the so-called PU letter for their prospective employees.
What is the PU letter?
PU letter is the invitation letter issued in most cases (depending on the region/province) by a Foreign Affairs Office. In order to obtain a PU Letter, your employer should submit an application with the right paperwork, business license and PSB contact card.
