Social Studies Teacher

We are looking for a Social Studies Teacher for a Bilingual  School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in 2024.

Chinese/American Bilingual School based in Beijing, it specializes in the teaching and management of K-12 Chinese-American programs as well as British (Cambridge) programs. The school has a kindergarten, primary and secondary education divisions and provide students with a comprehensive and well-rounded education that combines rigorous academic standards with cultural immersion and global perspectives.

Job details

• Instruct middle school students in social studies courses utilizing the American Common Core framework
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Working time is from 8:00AM to 5:00PM from Monday to Friday with class size of 15-25 students per class

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching
• Hold a teaching certificate
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Excellent English communication skills

• Monthly salary of up to 27,650 RMB after tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
