Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international kindergarten based in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August/September 2023.

Job responsibilities

• Design and follow a complete daily activity plan
• Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
• Organize learning material and resources in order to set up an effective learning environment
• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and colleagues and provide appropriate information
• Assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis
• Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing

Requirements

• BSc degree in education or relevant license/certificate
• TEFL/TESOL certified
• Proven working experience as a Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Assistant or Teacher Aide
• Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
• Strong communication skills
• Keep abreast with the latest trends and best practices

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax depending on experience and qualifications
