High School Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a Mathematics Subject Teacher for an international High School based in Foshan. This is a full-time position starting in August 2023.

About the school

 Foshan's first international-based secondary school was founded in 2016. It's located on a quiet green campus in the Nanhai District of Foshan in Southern China and 2 bus stops away from Guangzhou South Railway station. From there, you can travel all over China by high-speed rail. Hong Kong can be reached in less than one hour by high-speed train from the railway station. The school offers British IGCSE/A-Level, as well as American Advanced Placement, courses following their 4C Ethos: Cheerful, Cooperative, Creative, Challenging through their middle and high school divisions.

Job Description:

• Teach the school’s Math curriculum to high school students
• Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Asses and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Hold/participate in parents’ meetings

Job Requirements:

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in related majors in mathematics, with master’s or more advanced degree
• Professional teaching certifications such as PGCE or teaching license in the subject;
• Minimum 3 years teaching experiences of mathematics relevant fields;
• A minimum of two years’ experience in international schools;
• Experience of teaching in one or more of the following IB, AP, A-levels and IGCSE;

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 32,000 RMB (Depending on experience and qualifications)
• 2,500 RMB house and transportation allowance per month if live off campus or Free on-campus modern apartment with all necessary furniture
• Flight Allowance: 9,500 RMB per year
• Meal Allowance: 330 RMB / Month
