We are looking for an English ESL Teacher for a Training school based in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.

This education center builds strong English proficiency through authentic reading using U.S.-published K–12 textbooks and a vast library of original English books. With several campuses across China, it combines American classroom methods with strategies tailored to Chinese learners, focusing on all four language skills. Alongside language development, students gain 21st-century skills like creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving to thrive in global academic and professional settings.


Job details

  • Deliver engaging English ESL lessons to young learners aged 4 to 12, focusing on the development of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
  • Teach small groups of 5 to 12 students, ensuring personalized attention and active participation
  • Conduct 1.5-hour classes in a structured and interactive format designed to enhance language proficiency.
  • Work a fixed 40-hour schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, including teaching hours, lesson preparation, and related duties
  • Maintain a professional and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence in using English


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • TEFL or other teaching certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with young learners

 

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary of 20,000 to 24,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance of 3,000 RMB
  • Annual bonus provided of one month’s salary
