Art Teacher

We are looking for an Art Teacher for an international school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of art to primary school students utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Good understanding of teaching in IB context

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary 25,000 to 26,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 4,000 RMB
• Travel allowance is 2000 RMB per year
• Provide a two- year contract and completion bonus is 20,000
• International insurance is 10,000 RMB per year
• Fully paid summer and winter holiday
