Economics Teacher

We are seeking an Economics Teacher for an international school based in Kunshan, Jiangsu province. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

This school was founded in 2012, initially offering the world-class Ontario (Canada) curriculum. Over the years, it has established strong roots in Kunshan and evolved into a fully authorized IB Continuum School, providing the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes for students aged 3 to 18. Job details

• Teach the subject of economics to secondary education school students utilizing the IB DP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in related subject
• At least 2 years of subject teaching experience
• Primarily teaching IBDP Business and Economics
• Familiarity with the IB curriculum is not essential, but relevant teaching experience is a must

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
