Primary School Vice Principal

We are looking for a Primary School Vice Principal for a K12 bilingual School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

Private school based in Beijing. It is among the first schools in China authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Offering boarding and day school facilities, it caters to students in primary, middle, and high school levels, encompassing both local and international students. With a diverse community of over 500 staff from various countries and regions, the institution presently houses 75 classes and over 2000 students.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
• Promote inquiry-based learning and ensure alignment with IB standards
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers
• Foster professional growth and a collaborative work environment
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
• Support the holistic development of each student
• Build strong relationships with parents and the school community
• Communicate the school’s mission and values effectively
• Oversee daily operations and manage resources efficiently
• Ensure compliance with IB standards and local regulations
• Contribute to the school’s strategic goals
• Integrate innovative practices and technology into the curriculum

Requirements

• More than 2 years’ full-time in management experience in IB school
• Teaching license
• Bachelor degree and above in language or education field, with a teaching credential
• Outstanding communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary is up to 50,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
