IB PYP Coordinator

We are looking for an IB PYP Coordinator for an international school located in Dalian. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Starting as a single international school, the education group has grown into China's largest private education provider. It offers a full range of educational services, including preschools, primary, middle, high, and foreign national schools. Its campuses feature spacious classrooms, labs, sports facilities, dormitories, and administrative offices, currently accommodating around 2,000 students with room for expansion.

Job responsibilities

• Lead the review and development of the curriculum to ensure alignment with IB standards and best practices
• Oversee the administration of the IB PYP, ensuring compliance with IB policies and accurate reporting
• Serve as the primary contact between the school and the IB organization, managing communication and ensuring adherence to IB guidelines
• Provide leadership for the development and implementation of the IB curriculum across all grade levels
• Collaborate with school leadership to align IB programs with the school's overall educational goals and strategic vision
• Organize workshops and training sessions to strengthen teachers' understanding of IB methodologies
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews of student learning outcomes and teaching strategies to drive continuous improvement
• Communicate programme expectations clearly with students, parents, and staff while fostering strong connections within the IB community.
• Participate in the school’s leadership team, contributing to school improvement initiatives and strategic planning
• Bring at least five years of teaching experience with a proven background in educational leadership and IB curriculum coordination

Requirements

• Ideally, Master’s degree in education or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
• Proven experience in educational leadership roles, particularly in curriculum development or program coordination
