Primary School English Teacher 小学英语老师

We are looking for a Primary School English Teacher for a primary school based in Hangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

About the school

The school, which is located in the Xihu district of Hangzhou, is a private non-profit organization that offers education from kindergarten to high school levels. Currently, the school has around 3000 students and employs 20 expat teachers. It aims to provide personalized education using modern technologies such as Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things, with the internet serving as its basis.

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for English teaching, teaching in English, immersion in English after class, and collaborative teaching;
• Participate in the teaching and research of the whole group, compile and improve the construction of English curriculum system, and collect and enrich teaching plans;
• Serve as a student mentor and guide students to learn growth planning;
• Participate in the design and organization of projects, personalized teaching and interdisciplinary integration;
• Appropriate use of technology and other means to assist teaching, explore the integration of education and technology.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in teaching English as a second language or primary education
• Have 5-10 years of teaching experience in primary school English in the school system,
• Have unique insights into interdisciplinary teaching;
• Familiar with global English teaching practice, overseas background is preferred
• North American teaching experience is preferred.
• Fluent in Chinese and English

• 熟悉全球英语教学实践，海外背景优先，有北美教学经验优先。
