History Teacher

We are looking for a History Teacher for an International Middle School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

About the school

International school based in Chengdu has both day and boarding options for Chinese nationals and is backed by its UK college. The Chengdu campus offers pre-school, primary and secondary and can accommodate 1200 students.

Job details

• Teach History subject of IGCSE and A-Level to middle school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in history or related field of study
• At least 2 years’ related teaching experience
• Excellent English communicative skills
• Experience in IGCSE and A-Level curriculum

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 22,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
