Visual Arts Teacher

We are looking for a Visual Arts Teacher for a High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year.

Job details

• Teach the subject of visual art to high school students utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Work week consists of 20 to 25 teaching periods and no office hours

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff students and parents
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 18,000 RMB to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
