University English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a University based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from February 2023.

Job details

• Teach the school’s English curriculum to university students aging 18-25
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• 160-320 teaching hours per semester

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, humanities major preferred
• At least 2 years’ English teaching experience/TEFL, TESOL certificate/Teaching certificate
• Excellent English communicative skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 10,000RMB (bachelor degree, before tax)
• Monthly salary of 11,000RMB (master degree, before tax)
• Monthly salary of 15,000RMB (doctor degree, before tax)
