Teacher of EAL

We are looking for a Junior School EAL Teacher (Key Stage 2: Years 3-6) for an International School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from August 2023.

Job details

• Teach the school’s EAL curriculums to students in Key Stage 3, a three-year IGCSE program from Years 9 to 11 and the IB Diploma
• Supporting students by engaging all stakeholders to deliver content language balanced programmes and instruction in our Junior School
• Ensure academic, personal and social pathway development and entitlement for all students
• Lead, support and promote an inclusive culture that is focused on growth, purpose, and a sense of belonging as part of the student experience within the mainstream classroom setting

• With significant Key Stage 2 experience and a genuine commitment to putting students first

Requirements

• At least two years post qualification experience and specific EAL qualifications to support
• Bachelor or above degree is required 
• PGCE or QTS are required 

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 28,000  to 40,000 RMB before tax
• Housing allowance of 4,000 to 9,000 RMB
• Public holidays
• Fully paid Summer and Winter holidays
• Provide relocation fee
