We are looking for a Secondary School English Teacher for a Bilingual  School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in February 2024.

Chinese/American Bilingual School based in Beijing, it specializes in the teaching and management of K-12 Chinese-American programs as well as British (Cambridge) programs. The school has a kindergarten, primary and secondary education divisions and provide students with a comprehensive and well-rounded education that combines rigorous academic standards with cultural immersion and global perspectives.


Job details

  • Teach  US grade 10 and grade 11 English and Grade 9 IELTS utilizing the US Common Core framework , and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or above
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in teaching
  • Hold a teaching certificate
  • Passionate and Energetic in teaching
  • Excellent English communication skills


Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary of up to 29900 RMB after tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Benefits include a 60-minute lunch break, free lunch provided on campus, monthly breakfast allowance, and gifts from the school.
  • Full-time employment on a one-year contract (renewable).

  •  Applicants sign an employment agreement and are assisted in applying for work visas and residence permits. Additional remuneration will be given for obtaining a PGCE/SACE/QTS/US teaching license, or for obtaining a master's/doctoral degree, or for good monthly attendance,

  • Airfare Reimbursement: Up to 6,000 RMB per year upon completion of one year of employment with the employer.
