Science Teacher

We are looking for a Science Teacher for an international school based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in.

About the school

The school is a private international language school which located in Guangzhou; it consists of primary, middle, American high school program, IEP program and a Korean department.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of science to middle and high school students utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in education or subject related major
• Have more than 2 years' teaching experience
• Familiar with the IB curriculum
• Eligible to apply for the English teaching visa

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 28,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
