Primary School Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for an international school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

Job responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you will serve as a homeroom teacher and teach subjects like English, science/social studies, personal/social class, math, and homeroom sessions as well as:

• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Contribute to and develop a comprehensive curriculum
• Support students learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, such as supporting English and in other subjects and programs

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in education or relevant
• Teaching License
• Two or more years teaching experience
• Good understanding of teaching in IB PYP context

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary 25,000 to 26,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 4,000 RMB
• Travel allowance is 2000 RMB per year
• Provide a two- year contract and completion bonus is 20,000
• International insurance is 10,000 RMB per year
