Primary School Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for a bilingual school based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August, 2025

Job details

• Plan scaffolded and differentiated lessons aligned with standards-based outcomes
• Implement diverse instructional strategies, including inquiry-based and problem-based learning
• Use formative and summative assessment data to guide planning and teaching
• Engage in reflective practice and participate in professional development
• Collaborate with Chinese and English colleagues across disciplines
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Elementary School Principal

Beyond academic instruction, teachers also:

• Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages critical and creative thinking
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
• Support holistic student development as advisors or project supervisors (e.g., PYP Community Projects, Passion Projects)
• Collaboratively plan and participate in co-curricular activities and events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
• Experience in a PYP classroom
• Valid teaching certificate or proof of qualified teacher status
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 30,000 to 40,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Housing allowance of up to 10,000 RMB
