Primary School English Teacher

We are looking for English Teachers for a primary international school based in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting from the August 2024 academic year.

About the school

The bilingual international school is situated in the center of the Nanjing National Jiangbei New Area (Free Trade Zone). It has a total area of 14 acres, with a total floor area of 57,000 square meters. The school follows the national education system, while incorporating components that can enhance the students' learning and help them to transition from primary school to the international (A-Level) curriculum in the High School.

Job responsibilities

• Teaching English courses to primary school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Hold or participate in parents’ meetings

Requirements

• A bachelor or above degree in education of related subjects’ studies;
• Excellent in communication skills in English
• At least two years teaching experience in international schools and be familiar with international curriculum;
• Hold a teaching license or TEFL/TESOL certificate;
• Resourceful and adaptive, eager to embrace constant change, growth and learning
• Enthusiasm, commitment, patience, and a passion for teaching, and deep dedication to learning and developing as an educator

Salary Package

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on qualifications and experience
• Housing Allowance of 3500RMB per month
• Contract Completion Bonus
• Flight allowance will be provided per year
• Relocation allowance will be paid to assist with the shipping of additional luggage etc. at the start of the contract
