English Teacher

We are looking for an English (ESL) subject teacher for a Primary School in Chongqing. This is a full-time position starting from August 2023.

About the school

A top 12-year international boarding school consists of Primary, Smart Junior, Bilingual Junior and International Senior. Now the school has over 2000 students and over 400 staff members.

Job Description:

• Planning and delivering lessons to primary school students aging from 6 to 12
• The candidate is encouraged to provide extra curriculum classes, such as Art, Science, PE and ICT etc.
• Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to students
• Participating in academic meetings with other English teachers.
• Submitting weekly/monthly materials including teaching plan and teaching reflection etc.
• Preparing English tests for students, calculating exam marks and producing performance analysis
• Working time: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday with 20 class periods/week

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Candidate holding a degree major in Education or a related is preferred.
• TESOL/CELTA/TEFL/or Other Teaching certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and Welfare:

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
