Primary Coordinator

We are looking for a Primary Coordinator for an international school based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August, 2025.

About the school

Located in Baiyun District of Guangzhou, this international school has four sections: early years, primary school, middle school and high school. It provides both Cambridge International Curriculum and British National Curriculum programs. The school campus is large, well-equipped with classrooms, a Music and Dance area, a Library and Information Centre, an Art room, laboratories, a soccer pitch and other recreational areas.

Job responsibilities

• Lead and manage the primary section, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and implementation of curricula.
• Support and mentor teachers in their professional development and actively participate in the planning and assessment processes.
• Coordinate the primary program and foster communication between grade levels as well as between teachers and parents.
• Organize school events, open days, and parent-teacher meetings to promote engagement within the school community.
• Develop and maintain effective assessment processes to monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure that resources and facilities meet the needs of the primary program.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years leadership experience in primary school
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 28,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
