Physics Teacher

We are looking for a Physics Teacher for an International School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

About the school

International school based in Chengdu has both day and boarding options for Chinese nationals and is backed by its UK college. The Chengdu campus offers pre-school, primary and secondary and can accommodate 1200 students.

Job responsibilities

• Teach Physics of IGCSE and A-Level to middle school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in physics or related fields
• At least 2 years’ related teaching experience
• Experience in IGCSE and A-Level curriculum
• Excellent English communicative skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 22,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
