Physical Education Teacher

We are looking a Physical Education Teacher for an international school located in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August, 2023.

Job Description

• Prepare and deliver PE classes to a range of classes to students in KG to grade 10
• Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development Research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
• Prepare pupils for external examinations
• Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
• Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor degree in sports
• Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject is a plus
• A teaching license recognized by home country’s education ministry is a plus
• IB PYP / IPC transdisciplinary approach to inquiry
• English language teaching related certifications from credible awarding bodies
• IB / IPC / Cambridge related workshops for teachers

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: 22,000 – 28,000 RMB per month (before tax, negotiable upon certificates and teaching experience)
