Physical Education Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education Teacher for an international boarding school based in Hangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year.

This international educational institution is located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. It encompasses two schools, the Lower School and the Upper School, which offer an extraordinary education experience by combining an internationalized approach with the Chinese National Curriculum for students from the start to Grade 12. The school provides boarding facilities for students from G1 to G12 with excellent amenities for learning, innovation, enterprise, performing arts, and sports. It will prepare students for their university lives and the global workplace, while also providing personal attention to the development of each pupil's self-assurance, tenacity, autonomy, and character, in addition to the collaborative abilities required after graduation.

Job details

• Instruct students of various age groups in Physical Education (PE), ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school
• Have boarding duty once per week, 6.30am - 8am (wake up, breakfast and playtime), 18.15 - 20.45 (evening activity, bed time routine)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above
• 2 years of relevant teaching experience(s)
• Hold a teaching certificate
• Excellent English communication skills
