Physical Education (PE) Teacher

We are looking for Physical Education (PE) Teacher for an International School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

About the school

This international school, located in Chengdu's High-Tech Zone, offers a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school with an integrated system of Chinese and Western education. Courses under the International Baccalaureate curriculum are provided from elementary to high school. There are presently more than two thousand students in the school, with over seven hundred of them registered in the IB program. These students are equipped to pursue higher education in schools in North America, the UK, and Australia.

Job details

• Teach PE courses to primary school students aging from 6 to 12
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with other teachers and develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant teaching subject
• At least 2 years’ related teaching experience
• Excellent English communicative skills

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 24,000 RMB before tax
