Middle School Math Teacher

We are looking for a Math Teacher for an International School based in Shenzhen. This is a full-time position starting from the August 2023 academic year.

An international school situated in Shenzhen provides the International Primary Curriculum that caters to students globally by combining academic courses, individual growth, and international knowledge. It has pre-school, primary school, and middle school divisions with a K12 system that equips learners with a comprehensive education and diminishes the difficulty of picking a school when entering higher education.

Job details

• Teach the school’s Math courses to middle school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Working Hours – 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 8:00 - 16:30)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Science & Math Education or related
• Qualified home-country teaching license will be a plus
• A good grasp of the methodology of teaching math/science subjects
• at least 2 years teaching experiences at international school(s)

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 RMB to 30,000 RMB
