Middle School English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a Middle School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job details

• Teach the English courses (ESL) to middle school students
• No more than 20 English classes a week
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• 9AM to 5 PM (subject to school schedule), Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or above
• Excellent English communication skills and eligible to apply for English teaching visa;
• A certified/notarized TESOL/TESL/TEFL qualification;
• A certified/notarized non-criminal certification;
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience, with teaching experience in middle schools preferred.

• Monthly salary of 25,000 RMB to 26,000 RMB
