We are looking for a Copy Editor (Japanese) for a Television broadcaster based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.

Job responsibilities

• Compile and efficiently distribute news materials to prominent media outlets like Reuters, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
• Skillfully polish and edit news scripts to achieve a refined and compelling final product, maintaining the highest standards of quality
• Provide valuable feedback and insightful comments on the work of subeditors, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances editorial excellence
• Embrace a flexible shift-based schedule, accommodating weekly variations to ensure continuous coverage

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above; journalism majors preferred
• More than two years of media experience, or a graduate majoring in journalism
• Native fluency in Japanese
• Editing experience desirable
• Conversational Chinese would be preferred but is not a must

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Monthly salary of 19,000  to 25,000 RMB , reflecting your skills and dedication
