Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for a Kindergarten Homeroom English Teacher for an International School based in Ningbo. This is a full-time position starting from February/ August, 2023/ as soon as possible.

Top international school based in Ningbo’s Sanjiangkou area. The school has kindergarten and a primary division where it integrates China’s national curriculum an IB curriculum concepts to meet educational needs for all students and promote a strong international outlook.

Job details

• Maintaining a caring, safe, and nurturing environment in class, observing health and safety protocols at all times
  
• Providing developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for each child
  
• Being committed to and experienced in project-based learning
• Meeting and instructing students in assigned classes
• Serving on content specific curriculum committees to create content, evaluate the instructional program, and making improvements as needed
• Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and technology consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the students
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree 
  
• At least 2 years’ experience
• Intercultural competence and the ability to foster collaboration and trust
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office, virtual meeting spaces 
• Familiarity with digital learner management systems 
• Only teachers with official permission to work will be considered – teachers who are new to China will be assisted to ensure they comply with immigration and work regulations
