Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for an International Kindergarten based in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

Job responsibilities

Together with teaching assistants, support the children in their learning‐journey from Monday to Friday. During this time, you will:

• Teach daily class activities to kindergarten students aged 2-6 as assigned by the school, creating an English learning environment
• Develop and implement a comprehensive daily activity plan tailored to each child's needs
• Teach alphabet, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional skills
• Organize learning materials and resources to create an effective learning environment
• Utilize a variety of engaging activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, games, art, outdoor activities, etc.) to motivate and stimulate children's abilities
• Maintain open communication with parents and colleagues, providing relevant information
• Regularly assess and monitor each child's performance and progress
• Foster cooperation and sharing among children through monitoring their interactions
• Actively participate in school events, activities, and performances

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in education or relevant license/certificate
• TEFL/TESOL certified
• Proven working experience as a Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Assistant or Teacher Aide
• Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
• Strong communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Summer and Winter holidays (Summer 8 weeks and winter 3-4 weeks)
