Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an International Kindergarten based in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job description

Together with teaching assistants, support the children in their learning‐journey from Monday to Friday. During this time, you will:

• Design and follow a complete daily activity plan
• Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
• Organize learning material and resources in order to set up an effective learning environment
• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and colleagues and provide appropriate information
• Assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis
• Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher
• 2 years of relevant teaching experience
• TEFL certificate or higher
• Excellent communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 23,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
• 2 weeks Winter vacation and 2 weeks summer vacation fully paid
