We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for an International Kindergarten based in Chengdu's Gaoxin District. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.


About the school

International kindergarten with multiple campuses across the country. The school offers Bilingual and International (North American) curriculum to its students where the Bilingual program offers a half day immersive English program and the international program a full day.


Job responsibilities

Together with teaching assistants, support the children in their learningjourney from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. During this time, you will:

  • Teach daily class activities to kindergarten students aged 3-6 as assigned by the school, creating an English learning environment
  • Lesson planning, daily classroom management and classroom activities organization
  • Utilize games, music, books, art, technology and other resources to teach basic skills and foster children development
  • Collaborate with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning care environment, and an appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
  • Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
  • TEFL/TESOL Certificate
  • Excellent English communicative skills
  • Energetic and passionate about teaching

 

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary ranging from 14,500 to 21,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance from 2,500 to 5,000 RMB
