We're actively seeking a Kindergarten Campus Director to
become a part of our early childhood education team in Arcadia, CA. This is a
full-time role with an immediate start date.
About the school
A subsidiary of Asia's foremost Montessori Education Group,
is embarking on the launch of a state-of-the-art campus situated in Arcadia,
California, USA.
Job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a school campus and a passion for ensuring a high-quality learning experience for young students in our care. As a member of our team, you will oversee the daily operations of our kindergarten campus, manage staff, ensure safety and security standards are upheld, and foster a positive learning environment for students. As well as:
- Oversee all aspects of campus operations, including safety, security, maintenance, and administrative tasks
- Provide leadership to campus staff, including teachers,
support staff, and administrative personnel, to ensure efficient and effective
daily operations
- Establish a positive and engaging learning environment for
students that encourages academic growth and fosters important life skills,
such as teamwork, respect, and responsibility.
- Implement and oversee curriculum development and teacher
training programs that align with the company standards and objectives
- Develop relationships with parents and the wider community
to promote the school's mission and enhance the overall reputation of the
school
- Manage financial budgets, oversee fundraising activities,
and ensure compliance with any necessary regulations or laws
- Hold staff accountable for meeting performance standards, and design professional development plans for staff to facilitate career growth
Job requirements
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Leadership/Administration;
- IT and/or EC Montessori Credentia
- 10+ years in preschool/kindergarten experience in early
childhood education, at least 5 years of experience in educational management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal
skills
- Strong leadership abilities and experience with managing a
diverse team of professionals
- Excellent knowledge of early childhood education and
development
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and make timely,
strategic decisions
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and requirements in
the education sector
- Proficient with social media
