International Head of Secondary School

We are looking for an International Head of Secondary School for an international school located in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

This international educational institution is located in Chaoyang District of Beijing. It has top-notch facilities, including a sports arena suitable for tournaments, arts classrooms, science labs equipped with the latest technology and an 800-seat theater. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and the IB (International Baccalaureate) Philosophy to its students in elementary, middle and high school. This blend of curricula provides a strong foundation of subject knowledge and cultivates learning abilities and thinking skills.

Job description

• Lead the overall strategy and development of the secondary education program internationally.
• Collaborate with educational institutions to benchmark and implement best practices in secondary education.
• Oversee curriculum development, ensuring it meets both local and international educational standards.
• Manage and mentor the secondary education team to enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
• Develop partnerships with international organizations to expand our global presence and educational impact.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of secondary education programs through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
• Report on program success and areas for improvement to key stakeholders and the executive team.

 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, International Education, or a related field
• Experience in a leadership role within secondary education.
• Demonstrated experience in international education systems and cross-cultural competency
• Strong knowledge of academic programs, student welfare, staff management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of successfully managing educational programs and teams in a global context

Salary and benefits

• Annual salary of 700,000RMB to 800,000RMB commensurate with on experience and qualifications
