We are looking for a Humanities Teacher for a high school in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting in May 2025.

About the school
The school covers an area of 666 M2, consisting of more than 650 teaching staff, 450 full-time teachers, 116 classes and over 6500 students. School offers four foreign languages courses: English, Japanese, French and German, established middle school, senior high school and international department.

Job responsibilities
  • Teach the subjects of Ancient Civilization History, Global Perspectives, etc. to high school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Four or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education
  • Good understanding of teaching in IB\A-Level\AP context
