History Teacher

We are looking for a History Teacher for a High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in February or August 2025.

Job details

• Teach the school’s history subjects to high school students of Grade 9 to 12
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students

Job requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in history or relevant field of study
• More than 2 years relevant teaching experience
• Hold a teaching certificate is preferred
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Housing allowance of up to 8,000 RMB
• Flight allowance of up to 10,400 RMB
• Summer and Winter holidays approx. 2 to 3 months totally
