High School Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for an International High School based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming school year in August 2023.

A boarding high school based in Nansha, Guangzhou that offers IGCSE and A Level courses is devoted to cultivating students with a worldwide outlook and an international mindset. Since its inception, over one thousand of its alumni have gained admission to renowned universities all around the world.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the school’s Mathematics courses to high school students
• Familiar with Cambridge A level/IGCSE curriculum prepare the Cambridge A level/IGCSE teaching plan and curriculum plan and relevant materials according to the syllabus
• Deliver lesson, supervise and guide students to complete teaching tasks and objectives
• Regularly feedback the information of students, flexibly adjust the teaching plan according to the needs of students
• Cooperated with the teaching and research department to develop and regularly update teaching materials and lecture plans
• Hold or participate in parents’ meetings and team meetings

Job requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above, teacher's Qualification Certificate
• Experience of curriculum planning and development and significant experience of delivering A Level IGCSE curriculum
• A track record of producing excellent A Level IGCSE results
• Good at communicating with students and stimulate their initiative in learning
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team work spirit
• Be capable to use English as instruction language
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to professional development

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 22,000 to 30,000 RMB before tax depending on experience and qualification
