High School English Teacher

We are looking for a High School English Teacher for a High School in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting ASAP.

About the school

This is a new type of state-owned private-run school. It covers an area of 160,000 square meters, with the construction area of 110,000 square meters. It boasts the existing school students of more than 5,000 as well as 500 teaching staff.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to high school students utilizing the A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Approx. 20 teaching periods a week

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 23,000 to 25,000 RMB and is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
