Head of Economics

We are looking for a Head of Economics for an International Secondary School in Zhuhai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Economics Department in delivering a high-quality economics curriculum aligned with IGCSE and A-level standards
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
• Monitor and assess student progress; provide timely feedback and create improvement plans
• Conduct regular departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development, instructional practices, and student performance
• Collaborate with fellow educators to foster a supportive educational environment
• Oversee the professional development and training of economics teachers within the department

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Three or more years of teaching and managing experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills 

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary is from 30,000 RMB, commensurate with experience and qualifications
