Game Community Manager

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic game community manager to develop and grow our player-focused community. The ideal candidate connects communications, content, social media, memes, moderation, and influencer relationships. They will craft cohesive community plans and shape the community effectively.

Job responsibilities

• Oversee content strategy and engage with the community on various channels
• Develop impactful product communications, including developer feedback and patch notes
• Organize and execute community initiatives, contests, events, and content partnerships
• Coordinate and communicate content plans to cross-functional and regional teams
• Strategize content creator outreach, cultivating relationships and identifying new talent
• Analyze and optimize content creator program performance through data-driven insights
• Maintain professional moderation on community channels by managing moderators
• Facilitate player feedback loops, reporting community sentiment, concerns, and suggestions accurately

Requirements

• Prior experience in managing and expanding gaming communities
• Demonstrated excellence in brand communications and content writing
• Profound understanding of community platforms and their impact on community engagement
• Highly organized and proactive, with adept skills in planning and self-managing social media content strategy
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to effectively communicate with colleagues

• A passionate gamer who is able to pick-up games fast
• Ability to use Photoshop
• Existing strong network of artistic vendors
• Knowledge/background in Esports
