English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an International School based in Yantai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

International school located in Yantai. The school offers international education to mainland Chinese students through its multiple campuses all over China. The school has Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary divisions with outstanding educational results in IGCSE and the A Level programmes, where their graduates go on to study and top universities across the world.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate and familiarity with IGCSE and A-level
• Two or more years of teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualificaitons
