English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to high school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above of related majors
• Two years or above high school English teaching experience
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Teaching experience in IETLS or TOEFL is preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 28,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 8,000 RMB
• Summer and Winter holidays (approx. 2-3 months total)
