We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school in Qingdao. This position is available from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.

Located in Qingdao’s Chengyang District, this private boarding school offers a bilingual education that combines the Chinese national curriculum with British IGCSE, A-Level and AP programs. With around 800 students and a diverse faculty, the school emphasizes academic excellence, holistic development, and global university preparation through a strong blend of academics, arts, and extracurricular activities.

Job responsibilities
  • Teach the subject of English to secondary school students utilizing the AP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject 
  • Good understanding of teaching  AP English
 
Salary and benefits
  • Monthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
