English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a High School based in Nanjing. This is a full-time position starting in February/March 2025.

The school, a large institution combining primary, junior, and senior levels with an International Department, serves students aged 7-18. With over 5,000 students and 500 staff, the school focuses on comprehensive curriculum reform and innovative teaching methods. Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to high school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a master's degree
• Teaching experience in A-Level more than 2 years is or QTS or PGCE certificate
• TEFL or TESOL certificate preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 26,000 to 33,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 3000 RMB and rental assistance provided
