English Teacher

We are looking for an English AP Teacher for an international High school in Guangzhou starting from August, 2022.

Job details

• The teacher will teach ELA courses and Global Perspectives to G10-12 students, and teach AP courses to G11-12 students as elective courses according to the school schedule
• The teacher will be able to teach our international curriculums such as AP/A Level
• To formulate and carry out lesson plans and course syllabus and develop and update teaching materials
• To give students a solid foundation in Subject field to build on through the rest of their education and prepare students for the AP, Pre AP and examinations
• Working hours per week will be forty (40) hours, with two days off according to the school calendar

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree or above (Master is preferred) in related field such as education, history, English etc.
• TESL/TEFL/TESOL license OR a state/ government issued teaching license/credential
• At least 2 (two) years teaching experience in international curriculum/courses such as AP, A Level, or IB
• AP certified is a plus
• Experience in teaching history or culture is a plus

Salary and benefits

• RMB 23,000 to 30,000 a Month based on qualification and experience (before tax)
