English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an International School based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting in February 2025.

Bilingual school based in Guangzhou’s Panyu area offering a revolutionary educational experience, combining Eastern and Western educational methods to primary and middle school pupils. This institution provides a comprehensive course of study focusing on the national curriculum and further supplemented by widely respected international curricula. About the role

• Teach English/EAL to students in secondary education utilizing the IB framework or Chinese National courses and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above and preferably related major in education
• 3 + years of school teaching experience (preferably in an international / bilingual school)
• PGCE and/or QTS or relevant teaching qualification is a plus
• Compliance with visa requirements for working in China
