English Teacher

We are looking for an English (ESL) Teacher for an International school located in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

International school Located in Guangzhou. It is the first international school for Hong Kong and Macao students which has been operating for over 15 years and provided consistently high-quality education for kindergarten, primary, middle and high school students.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting subject teaching instructions, assessments and placements to primary and middle school students ageing 6-17 (Grade 7-12)
• Designing curriculum, and planning and preparing for lessons
• Working with local teachers on curriculum development
• Monitoring and reporting students' performance, progress and development, and providing regular feedback to parents regarding student progress

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in English or related subject
• More than three years teaching experience
• IB teaching experience is an asset
• Recognized TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate
• Fluent in English speaker
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and effective communicator and a team player
• With great interests and eager to develop the career path in education industry

Salary and benefits

• Salary of approx. 22,000 - 30,000 RMB/month before tax
